Bra tankar kring fotografi

“Maybe more than thinking about photography, it is worthwhile considering what one would like to communicate with photographs. Great writers and novelists rarely discuss the pens they use or their laptop computers, they discuss the ideas that writing can communicate. Photography is a fully embodied means of communication, and in this respect, no different than other forms of expression, and maybe more than discussing cameras and technique, it is fundamental to consider what we would like to communicate and discover and share with ourselves and with others. It seems to me that this is a strong foundation for a life in photography. Most importantly, one should always follow one’s heart and instincts – they will offer us our most valuable compass in our life pursuits."

Kollade just på en dokumentär från svt om vår identitet på nätet. Det handlade om att man själv måste vara mycket aktivt för att kunna få de resultat på sökresultaten på google som man själv skriver. Och att istället för att gömma sig bakom synonym så borde man enligt denna dokumentär vara öppet med sin identitet. 

Jag vet inte riktig om jag håller med. Just det som är så bra med nätet är ju också att man kan vara anonymt, att man kan vara en helt annan person om man vill. 

Men om man inte vill att någon ska läser det man skriver, varför ska man lägga ut det på nätet då?
